Spring has sprung and it is officially wedding season again!  Beyond the excitement of attending the glamorous unions of family, friends or colleagues, I am fascinated with all of the pre-wedding day plans.  Since I was a little girl, I have always played the role of helper so taking on tasks is second nature to me.  Whether it’s sampling cake or trying on hideous bridesmaid gowns, I just love getting ready for weddings!!

To kick off the 2011 wedding season, I would like to give a shout out to the always fabulous Reese Witherspoon.  The blonde bombshell finally got her storybook wedding just last week to Hollywood agent Jim Toth.  Instead of going with the standard vanilla palette of white or cream, Witherspoon went with a more romantic blush colored dress, custom made by none other than Monique Lhuillier.  Reese was a vision in her pink gown and pulled it off well with her simple hair and makeup.

One of the biggest stories in wedding fashion this season is the long awaited release of Anthropologie’s wedding line, BHLDN.  The chic and quirky store that is every girl’s dream shop for everything from cookbooks to cardigans has finally come out with a whimsical one-stop-shop for every bride to be.  Outside of the usual gowns, bridesmaids dresses and jewelry, the site also features shoes for every dress, lingerie, precious hair adornments and maids gifts.  In true Anthropologie fashion, everything is to die for!
